The center features a beautiful, sepia-toned illustration of the 1836 sailing vessel "Tigris" surrounded by an elegant scalloped rim accented with heavy, ornate gold gilt scrollwork.

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or heavy crazing. There is a small 'line' on the front that does not feel like a crack but dint. See photographs. Gilding remains bright and intact with very minimal surface wear.
