Add a pop of mid-century British wildlife charm to your walls with this gorgeous vintage 1970s John Heaton bird picture. This piece features a beautifully detailed illustration of a brilliant blue Kingfisher bird perched on a leafy branch. The artwork is printed onto a brushed aluminum metal tile, causing the iridescent blue and green plumage to catch the light with a subtle metallic shimmer. It is set against its original dark brown textured hessian/burlap canvas matting and housed in a warm, rustic wood grain frame.
Artist: John Heaton (Signed in print)Publisher/Maker: E.B. Rowson England
Excellent vintage condition. The metallic artwork plate is clear and bright with no major scratches or fading. The hessian backing and wooden frame are fully intact and structurally sound. Please note there is some light, age-appropriate surface wear to the thin silver painted trim running around the frame. This only adds to its authentic, retro mid-century character. Please see all photos for close-up details.
