A gorgeous and good sized vintage 1960s ironstone pitcher by Myott, Son & Co. Ltd. Manufactured in the historic pottery capital of Staffordshire, England, it features the iconic "Old Willow" pattern in a deep, crisp cobalt blue transfer design.

The timeless Chinoiserie motif depicts the romantic, traditional tale of the weeping willow, bridges, and lovebirds under a geometric border.

This medium-sized tankard jug is a perfect statement piece—style it as a functional milk/water server for Sunday brunch, a utensil holder or use it as a rustic floral vase for a Grandmillennial mantle or neutral farmhouse kitchen display.

- Brand: Myott (Staffordshire, England)
- Pattern: Old Willow (Blue and White)
- Era: Vintage 1960s
- Height: 13.5 cm (approx. 5.3 inches)
- Width: 18.5 cm from spout to handle (approx. 7.2 inches)

Condition:
Excellent structural vintage condition with NO chips, cracks, or surface crazing. The glaze remains beautifully bright and glossy. As is common with mid-century transferware, there are a few minor, charming factory production artifacts from the hand-applied tissue process. This includes a tiny blue ink spot, a faint transfer smudge near the birds, and a small area of lighter, faint print within the willow tree canopy (all clearly documented in the close-up macro photos). These unique quirks highlight its authentic, mid-century English pottery heritage!
