A charming vintage framed embroidery featuring two sparrows perched among leafy branches and bright red festive berries.
Worked in wonderfully textured stitches in warm shades of brown, cream, green and red, the embroidery has a lovely traditional country feel. It is presented in an oval brown faux-wood effect plastic frame, very characteristic of vintage 1970s decorative needlework.
The neutral woven ground and earthy colours make this an especially lovely piece for an English country, cottagecore, grandmillennial or vintage-inspired interior.

Good vintage condition overall and displays beautifully. There are some very minor and hardly noticeable age-related marks and signs of wear to the frame and textile, consistent with its age.
The reverse retains its original board backing and hanging cord, with some age-related wear visible.
