Beautiful vintage 1971 framed ceramic plaque by Harleigh China Co. Part of their "Series A" Wildlife collection, this piece features a highly detailed, classic transfer-ware illustration of a game bird family (partridges/grouse) nestled in woodland foliage.
Crafted in the historic pottery hub of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England, the circular porcelain plaque is elegantly showcased within a plush black velvet-style matte border and a heavy, ornate gilt-gold wood frame.
There is a round hook on the back so this fabulous piece just needs a wall!
The original, highly informative paper backing label is fully intact on the reverse, complete with the 1971 copyright and registered design numbers—adding fantastic provenance for vintage British ceramics collectors.
✨ Perfect for cottagecore, grandmillennial, or traditional gallery walls!
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or heavy crazing to the porcelain. The frame shows minimal age-related wear, and the backing paper remains securely attached, also has some wear. Please see photographs for more details.
