Vintage Copeland Spode oval art vase in the lovely Geisha (Prunus) pattern. Such a pretty shade of blue with contrasting white flowers.
Crafted in Staffordshire, England, this eye-catching piece features a stoneware body decorated with a crisp white, raised bas-relief branch of flowering cherry blossoms. Its distinct matte finish and graceful tapered shape offer a striking alternative to traditional Wedgwood jasperware.
Height: Approx. 10.75 cm (4.25 inches)
Width (at widest point): Approx. 12.5 cm (5 inches)
Weight: 245 grams
Pattern Code: K1175
This vase is in excellent vintage condition with no major flaws. Please note there are incredibly minor flea bites on the top rim however, because they appear to sit completely beneath the glossy interior glaze, it is a fascinating manufacturing anomaly rather than post-production damage. There is tiny, faint spots of surface staining consistent with its age (detailed close-up photos provided in the images and videos).
Perfect as a small statement piece on a mantle, a delicate bud vase, or a standout addition to any collection of fine British ceramics!
