This is a stunning mid-century decorative wall hanging featuring a classic "Flemish School" monochrome flower arrangement. The artwork is delicately printed on an opaque, gold-toned silk (or fine satin) fabric, giving it a soft, regal shimmer that changes with the light.
The piece is housed in its original, high-quality Florentine frame. Crafted from real wood with a dark stain, it features a classic gold-gilt oval mount. These frames are highly sought after for their authentic Italian craftsmanship.
Origin: Handmade in Florence, Italy (Original workshop label intact on reverse).
Subject: Monochrome blue flowers in the 17th-century Flemish style.
Material: Miniature on gold-toned silk/fine fabric, protected behind glass.
Signature: Stylised artist signature in the lower corner (unverified).

Condition:
This is a genuine vintage item and shows charming signs of age. There are some light scratches and some splatters to the wood and wear to the backing paper, consistent with its history and mid-century origins. These minor imperfections do not detract from its beauty but rather confirm its vintage soul. There is also some age related wear to the gilt oval creating a beautiful authentic patina. Processing: Dispatched within 1-2 business days.
I believe in fair and transparent shipping. If the actual cost of tracked delivery on the day of dispatch is lower than the estimate provided, I always pass that saving directly back to you via a partial refund.
Domestic (UK): Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. medium size parcel.
International: Royal Mail International Tracked.
Please note: For my US customers, shipping is sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means the price you pay at checkout is total—there are no surprise customs bills or extra fees on arrival. For other destinations, standard import rules apply. We are not responsible for delays in customs.
Returns & Damage
Returns: I gladly accept returns. Please contact me within 14 days of delivery and return the item within 30 days. terms must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition as received to be eligible for a refund. Buyers cover return postage costs.
Damage: In the rare event of transit damage, please take photos of the box and the item immediately so I can process a claim and refund for you.
